Disparate Scenes for Millennial Dreams at Meat Market Stables. 2019.
CONDO OSAKA
“I don’t know what the difference is but a condo is definitely not an apartment.”
In a hotel room in Osaka, an American dressed as Sailor Moon and an Australian dressed as Spider-Man attempt to connect. Condo Osaka is a surreal, intimate two-hander that explores the blurred lines between fantasy and reality, travel and escape, costume and identity.
Originally staged as part of Disparate Scenes for Millennial Dreams, the play offers a sharp, funny, and quietly devastating look at modern connection.

“Their chemistry builds exquisitely, and the serious truth is unleashed, hitting hard; Treston masters the arc.” – Lucinda Naughton
